Provisional Visa Requirements:
- This visa is designed for skilled workers who do not have sponsorship or a nomination from an employer, state, or territory government.
- Have successfully managed a business with a minimum ownership stake of 30%.
- Have a minimum turnover of 500,000 Australian Dollars for two of the past four fiscal years from the company you own.
- Have net assets of at least 800,000 Australian Dollars available for legal transfer to Australia within two years of receiving the visa grant.
- Achieve a minimum of 65 points in the points-based system.
- Receive an invitation and nomination from one of the Australian states.
Permanent residency requirements:
- Set up and run a business in the nominated state with at least a 30% ownership stake.
- Achieve a turnover of at least 300,000 Australian Dollars in the year immediately prior to applying for Permanent Residency.
- Demonstrate business assets in Australia valued at a minimum of 200,000 Australian Dollars.
- Provide evidence of combined business and personal assets worth at least 600,000 Australian Dollars.
- Employ a minimum of two Australian permanent residents or citizens.
- Maintain ownership and management of the established business for two years before applying for permanent residency.
